Malindo Air : KL - Bandung Route

Indonesian budget airline Lion Air announced on Tuesday that a new route connecting Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, to Bandung, Indonesia, will be officially opened on Oct. 1. “There will be one flight every day,” said Lion Air general affairs director Edward Sirait in Kuala Lumpur. Currently, the airline already has three daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta. With the addition of this new route, Edward said, people will have more options when flying between Indonesia and Malaysia. On Tuesday, Lion Air signed an agreement with Malaysia's National Aerospace and Defense Industries to provide a budget airline in Malaysia, to be called Malindo Airways. The agreement also included both company's cooperation in staff training, aircraft maintenance and logistics procurement. In addition, the two companies revealed plans to expand their business by opening new routes to China, India and Thailand, kontan.co.id reported.(riz/iwa) Via : Jakarta Post
